We will depart from Victoria from Port Welshpool in South Gippsland (following D1a on the map).

 

From here, we will paddle down the eastern side of Wilsons Promontory, before we 'island hop' down the eastern side of Bass Strait to Flinders Island.

 

We will then hug the western flanks of the Flinders Island group and arrive in North East Tasmania at Little Musselroe Bay at Cape Portland.
